SPS is a Faith-based organization, dedicated to serving single parents, engaging them in continual life-changing interaction through advocacy, mentoring, and support. We are a community of parents who strive to overcome life's difficulties for our children and ourselves. Many parents need support/guidance in child-rearing. It truly “takes a village” to raise a child. SPS is dedicated to empowering parents to be the best they can be for their children. The ‘Fun’ part is God funding trips for single-parent families.
Who are single parents?
Single parents are not all young, unwed women! They are men and women, who are unwed teenagers, adults, divorcees, or widows/widowers. The common denominator for the different types of single parents is that they have likely ended up in a circumstance far from what they expected, that is extremely challenging, and have children to raise. Now what?
